Bill Swertfager decided to revitalize wrestling in the Katonah community by starting a youth program in 1999. With John Jay high school disbanding varsity wrestling in the late 1980s, Swertfager had a goal to restore it and he used a hunch to drive his dream. Read more…

CROSS RIVER — A collection of Section 1′s best players took the field Sunday in the Section 1 High School Football Exceptional Senior Game at John Jay High School and they didn’t disappoint. The two teams put on quite a show in a high-scoring affair with the South team winning 46-28. Read more…
